Parrot Sequoia+ multispectral sensor

The Sequoia + is revolutionary because it is a complete plant analysis solution compatible with the majority of drones. Indeed, this mini camera format and its 72 grams make it adaptable to all drones without impacting flight performance. Whether on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, the data is accessible via WI-FI and USB. This simplifies both the integration of sensors and the use of data.

The Sequoia is actually split into two parts multispectral and sunshine sensor, the Parrot Sequoia + determines the health of plants by capturing the amount of light they absorb and reflect.

Sunshine sensor: located on the top of the drone, it records the intensity of light coming from the sun.

Multispectral sensor: located facing the plants, captures reflected light: green, red, and two infrared bands (invisible to the human eye).

GPS: The Parrot Sequoia sensor is equipped with a GPS which significantly improves its precision and that of the information collected.

PIX4D and PARROT

When Sequoia is paired with PIX4D software, the user experience is enhanced and data is processed optimally. No need to calibrate your device with a ground target before each flight since this is done automatically via PIX4D software.

The farmer can act on localized areas by providing fertilizers or reducing the amount of pesticide.
